 Hi virtual rallying friends







As my side project started to grow a bit by accident and i start to put real hopes to finish it, i want to present to the world what i prepare and hope to finish at some point

The stages i have chosen to (re)create for the best rallying simulator Richard Burns Rally, have their origin in the game of Richard's british rival Colin. As CMR was more of a party-game, RBR offers more realistic drifting experience on this hairpins. Dont try to go on the racing line from your childhood ;) there are many traps and concentration has to be high to get all apexes and small crests right and you have best playground to setup your diffs. 

As personal touch i decided to connect the original CMR stages with scratch new roads which extend all junctions with new stuff and closes all the loops. As bonus there will be three superspecial stage arenas on the map and some interesting interactive stuff. And a lot of "runkiplaces" despite a low speed.

The old mesh will get new HD resolution road in most places, surface update, more 3d details , upscaled vegetation, bareers, banners, buildings, spectators and the textures will mostly come from the real world "Nagano" region of Japan. I hope this will hit your taste and you will spend a lot of driving hours here, when it is finished.

For now its mostly raw old mesh with minor modifications and new road in its first form and humble textures. Superbowl is 90% final in 3D and 60% in textures, and its a big object that can fit much more twists, junctions and "okruh's" than any existing RBR stage

Dont judge before its final but its already now quite good :)
